I took Quincy for a walk early in the morning. It was foggy in the neighborhood, which is unusual. The roads and sidewalks under the skeletal trees were dark and wet. The rest of the surfaces were bone dry. It was a reverse image of what one would encounter on the streets and walks beneath leaf-laden trees when a light rain begins to fall. There you would seek out the dry places where you could take refuge (until the leaves became soaked).

This morning it was just the opposite. I guess the moisture in the air was condensing on the branches and dripping to the ground. It was strange, but not as magical as it appeared. Nice.
