Saint Brees

I'm so much not a sports guy, I never heard of Drew Brees before Sunday. Yet I wanted to see the Saints win. Partly because the city could use the win. But mostly I didn't want to see the Colts steal a victory from the people of New Orleans like they grabbed the team from the people of Baltimore years ago. One of those sleazy deals the owners make regardless of how much the community supports the team.

Turns out the game was fun to watch. The Saints outplayed the Colts, Drew Brees was great and the best team won. Not because of some controversal decision, just good football.

Quincy met some new friends at the park today:

Tuffy wore his Saints t-shirt to celebrate the victory.

Lady, the young Great Dane, watched as I scanned her spots for a fleur-di-lis pattern with no luck. She was just here to play and that she did.

I liked the Google ad. It was clever and cute.

According to a facebook post by Wired , "it wasn’t even produced for the Super Bowl". It has been running for about three months with a series of Google search Stories.
"We didn't set out to do a Super Bowl ad , or even a TV ad for search," Schmidt said in a Google post. "Our goal was simply to create a series of short online videos about our products and our users, and how they interact."
